NIHON FUNDRAISER for JAPAN 4.11.11

Please join us at this event that will lend its support to Japan and it speople in their time of need. There is no doubt that our support will reach the right hands. The American Red Cross has a contract with the organizers obligating them to transfer 100% of the proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross.

Stéphanie Van Hassel decided to organize this event because she truly believes that "It should be a part of being human to want to help others in dire need. Supporting other people should be something we all do." Please do your part.

About Stéphanie Van Hassel: She was born in Belgium however grew up across the globe from Singapore to Japan to Australia and currently living in New York City. She earned her bachelor degree in Human Development from Cornell University. Ms. Van Hassel interned at the Belgian Mission to the United Nations and UNICEF headquarters in New York during her college years. Currently, she works in finance at an international event driven hedge fund. Ms. Van Hassel has always been heavily involved in the non-profit world and is in the process of planning a fundraiser for the Japanese victims of the tragic earthquake and tsunami at Bubble Lounge on April 11th, 2011. Given she spent 8 years of her childhood growing up fully submerged in the Japanese culture, this fundraiser is near and dear to her heart.
