Evelyne Trouillot has been chosen to be part of the Yari Yari Conference’s closing panel in Ghana, meaning her voice will be one of the last ones heard by those in attendance and her message one of the last ones retained. She plans to take the audience through Haiti’s history by using her works to highlight journeys of the citizens that history books could not recount.

Where we were once surprised by then-newcomers Jhanesta, Belo and Tifane, we now have Wanito, J Perry and TALIE. Talie is definitely Haitian and the influence is there, but her voice and style is not particular to Haitian music.

Dating in your twenties can be a hot mess. You make a lot of mistakes, you date the wrong people, and you learn a lot. I mean it's essentially just like one big Brian McKnight song except there are twenty steps instead of five. And there's a lot more drinking, like a lot more. Let's explore the twenty steps of dating in your twenties and watch the inevitable train wreck unfold.
